Asus zenfone 8, Zenfone 8 flip will launch in India soon confirms Asus CEO

  Asus will soon launch the Zenfone 8 series in India after unveiling the devices for the global markets in May this year. But due to the Covid 19 pandemic the brand could not launch the device's on time.

Dinesh Sharma, Business Head of Commercial PC and Smartphone at ASUS India, in an exclusive interview with India Today, said that the company will be launching the Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip in India very soon. It is expected that the device could launch in India on August month. Now let's have a look at the Specifications of the device's.

1)Asus Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip will launch in India very soon as per Asus India head Dinesh Sharma.

2)ASUS could launch the Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip in India in early August.

3)Both the device's were earlier launched for the global markets in May.



Asus Zenfone 8 flip Specifications- ASUS ZenFone 8 Flip comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2,400 X 1,080 pixels resolution, HDR10+, 90Hz refresh rate, 200Hz touch sampling rate, 1100nits brightness, 112 per cent DCPI-P3 Colour Gamut, 20:9 aspect ratio, and Gorilla Glass 6 layer. It is powered by the Snapdragon 888 5G SoC paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone runs Android 11-based ZenUI 8 custom skin on top. The device has 5000mah battery with 30 watt fast charging support.

The device has triple rear camera's 64MP(Sony IMX 686 primary sensor)+(12MP ultrawide angle lens)+8MP(telephoto lens). Same is the configuration for front camera as the device has got flip camera's.

Other Specifications include In-display fingerprint scanner, IP68 water and dust resistance, stereo speakers, Dual Cirrus Logic CS35L45 amplifier, Dirac HD sound, Hi-Res Audio, Triple microphones with OZO Audio Zoom and ASUS Noise Reduction Technology 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, The device weighs 230 grams.




ASUS ZenFone 8 Specifications- The device sports a 5.9-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with an HDR10, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1100nits brightness, 112 per cent DCPI-P3 Colour Gamut, 20:9 aspect ratio, and Gorilla Glass Victus. It is powered by the Snapdragon 888 5G SoC paired with Adreno 660 GPU, up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone boots Android 11-based ZenUI 8 custom skin on top. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.

In the Camera department Zenfone 8 had dual rear camera's 64MP(primary lens Sony IMX 686 sensor)+12MP(ultrawide angle lens). On the front it has 12MP selfie shooter.

Other Specifications include In-display fingerprint scanner, IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, stereo speakers, Dirac HD sound, Hi-Res Audio, Triple microphones with OZO Audio Zoom, and ASUS Noise Reduction Technology. The device weighs 169 grams.
