Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G vs Oppo Reno 5 pro 5G

 Today we are going to compare two budget  flagship's from Samsung and Oppo. Now let's compare them and have a look which one of them provides better value for money.

Conclusion- 

1) Samsung Galaxy S20 FE comes with a 6.5 inch FHD+ Super Amoled display with 120hz refresh rate and a centre punch hole.

Oppo Reno 5 pro 5G comes with 6.55 inch FHD+ curved Super Amoled Display with 90hz refresh rate and 180hz touch sampling rate.

 In the display department both the device's are similar. Both the devices have Super Amoled Display but Samsung galaxy s20 FE has 120 hz refresh rate. But if you like curved Display then Oppo Reno 5 pro is definitely better.


2) Samsung Galaxy S20FE is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G chipset paired with upto 8GB LPDDR r ram and upto 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage.

Oppo Reno 5 pro 5G is powered by MediaTek dimensity 1000+ chipset paired with upto 8GB LPDDR 4X Ram and upto 128GB UFS 2.2 storage.

So on the performance department Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G with UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR 5 ram is ahead with Snapdragon 865 chipset which is better optimised than Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ chipset. Don't get me wrong Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ 5G chipset is also good but it's a new chipset it needs to be optimised.

3) Samsung galaxy S20 FE 5G has triple rear camera's 12MP(primary lens) lens)+12MP(wide-angle lens)+8MP(telephoto lens). On the front it houses a 32MP selfie shooter. 

Oppo Reno 5 pro 5G has has Quad rear camera's 64MP(primary lens)+8MP(ultrawide angle lens)+2MP(macro lens)+2MP(mono camera). On the front it has 32MP selfie camera.

So the camera department S20 FE 5G is ahead as it's camera seems more practical than Reno 5 pro 5G. It has got telephoto lens from which users can take awesome potrait shots. The two  2MP camera's on the Reno 5 pro 5G are of no use as users hardly use them.

4) Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G 4500mah battery with 15 watt fast charging support.

Oppo Reno 5 pro 5G has 4350 mah battery with 65 Watt fast charging support.

So on the battery both the device's are similar but the charging speed is better on Oppo Reno 5 pro 5G at 65 watt compared to 15 watt on Samsung.

5) S20 FE 5G has IP 68 water and dust resistance which is absent on Reno 5 pro 5G. 

6)S20 FE 5G has wireless charging which is absent on Reno 5 pro 5G.

7)The Galaxy S20FE comes in 8GB+128GB variant priced at Rs 55999.

 Oppo Reno 5 pro 5G Price- Oppo Reno 5 pro 5G comes in 8GB+128GB variant priced at Rs 35,990. 

So as per pricing Oppo Reno 5 pro 5G seems a better value for money.



Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G Specifications- Samsung has launched the S20 FE 5G the successor of the 4G model.  The Galaxy S20 FE comes with a 6.5 inch FHD+ Super Amoled display with 120hz refresh rate and a centre punch hole. The device comes with 4500mah battery with 15 watt fast charging support.The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G chipset. 

On the camera department it house triple rear camera's 12MP(primary lens) lens)+12MP(wide-angle lens)+8MP(telephoto lens). On the front it houses a 32MP selfie shooter. Camera features include 30x space zoom, 3X optical zoom for close up shots, night mode, single take mode. The device comes with Android 11 with One UI 3.1 on top.

Other Specifications include IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, USB type C port, 2G,3G,4G and 5G support, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC , GPS Dual- Band WI-FI etc.
