Asus Zenfone 8 may launch in India as Asus 8Z, Zenfone 8flip may launch as Asus 8Z flip

 Asus Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 flip were launched globally last week but the India launch has been delayed due to Covid 19 wave across the country. The phone has been listed as ZenFone 8/ ASUS 8Z with the model number ASUS_I006D, suggesting it may land in India as ASUS 8Z. Zenfone 8 flip could launch as ZenFone 8Z flip and carry the model number ASUS_I004D. but it is not listed with any alternate name at the moment. Now let's talk about the Specifications of the device's.

Highlights- 

1)ASUS ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Flip may launch in India as ASUS 8Z and ASUS 8Z Flip.

2)Key specs include Snapdragon 888, 5G connectivity, and 30W fast-charging support.

3)ASUS Zenfone 8 price starts at USD 599 (around Rs 44,100) for the 6GB/128GB version and USD 799 (approx Rs 58,900 approx.) for the 16GB/256GB model. It will be available in Obsidian Black and Horizon Silver colours will be available in Europe soon and in US market before July.

The ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip is priced at EUR 799 (around Rs 71,100) for the 8GB + 256GB storage version. The phone will be available in Europe soon.








Asus Zenfone 8 mini Specifications- ASUS ZenFone 8 sports a 5.9-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with an HDR10, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1100nits brightness, 112 per cent DCPI-P3 Colour Gamut, 20:9 aspect ratio, and Gorilla Glass Victus. It is powered by the Snapdragon 888 5G SoC paired with Adreno 660 GPU, up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone boots Android 11-based ZenUI 8 custom skin on top. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.

On the Camera department Zenfone 8 had dual rear camera's 64MP(primary lens Sony IMX 686 sensor)+12MP(ultrawide angle lens). On the front it has 12MP selfie shooter.

Other Specifications include In-display fingerprint scanner, IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, stereo speakers, Dirac HD sound, Hi-Res Audio, Triple microphones with OZO Audio Zoom, and ASUS Noise Reduction Technology. The device weighs 169 grams.



Asus Zenfone 8 flip Specifications- ASUS ZenFone 8 Flip comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2,400 X 1,080 pixels resolution, HDR10+, 90Hz refresh rate, 200Hz touch sampling rate, 1100nits brightness, 112 per cent DCPI-P3 Colour Gamut, 20:9 aspect ratio, and Gorilla Glass 6 layer. It is powered by the Snapdragon 888 5G SoC paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone runs Android 11-based ZenUI 8 custom skin on top. The device has 5000mah battery with 30 watt fast charging support.

The device has triple rear camera's 64MP(Sony IMX 686 primary sensor)+(12MP ultrawide angle lens)+8MP(telephoto lens). Same is the configuration for front camera as the device has got flip camera's.
