Samsung Galaxy A22 receives BIS certification

Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy A22 in both 4G and 5G versions.

According to GSMArena, a certain SM-A225F was recently spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website.
Unfortunately, beyond the SM-A225F/DS moniker, indicating that the phone will have dual-SIM support, there is hardly any other info available on the A22 4G. That same SM-A225F model number was also spotted in an HTML5 test listing, which does mention that it will run Android 11 out of the box.

Highlights-

1) Samsung Galaxy A22 has been spotted on BIS website.

2) Galaxy A22 4G Specifications are unknown at the moment.

3)The device could be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G chipset or Mediatek Dimensity 700 chipset.

5)It may not have Super Amoled display.

6)The official pricing is unknown.

7) These are all leaks so take it with a pinch of salt.

Samsung Galaxy A22 expected Specifications- Not much is known about the Galaxy A22 4G model.

The device could have water drop shaped notch at the front.

It is speculated that A22 5G could have Quad rear at the rear 48MP(primary)+8MP(ultrawide angle lens)+2MP(macro lens)+2MP(depth lens).
On the front it could have 13MP selfie shooter. The device could be priced lower than the Galaxy A32 5G so it could be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G chipset or Mediatek Dimensity 700.
It is widely believed that Samsung may not give Super Amoled display as S Amoled display is also absent in Galaxy A32 5G.
