Qualcomm Snapdragon 780 5G chipset announced

Qualcomm the famous American Chipset maker has announced  a new processor in its 700 series chipset's the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7805G chipset. The device is built on a 5nm fabrication process similar to the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 .




1)The chipset is an upgrade over the Snapdragon 750G and 765G. It comes with Kryo 670 GPU which can deliver 40% improved performance compared to its predecessor's.

2)The GPU here is Adreno 642 GPU and a Hexagon 770 processor which is paired with 6th generation Qualcomm AI engine which can deliver up to 12 tera operations per second.

3)For 5G connectivity the chipset comes with the X53 5G modem which can deliver upto 3.3 GBPS of download speed on sub 6-GHZ frequencie's.

4)The chipset support's Bluetooth 5.2, it also has wi-fi 6 capabilities.

5)The Qualcomm Snapdragon 780 5G SOC supports FHD display with upto 144hz refresh rate and HDR 10, HDR 10+ support. It supports LPDDR 4 ram type of upto 16GB.
